Poster Design, January 2021.
Skills: Photo editing, Adobe Photoshop, Operation of a DSLR, Design and Mockup, Graphic Design.
Medium: Photography and Adobe Photoshop
This project was done for a class assignment in which I created a poster for the movie The Lighthouse (2019). I created a poster which encapsulates and evokes the emotions of the characters in the film, using the lines from a scene in the movie.
By using another’s ideas to deliver promotional assets, I can think critically about and produce work to reflect the connection between the medium and message.
Logo Designs, January 2021.
Skills: Illustrating, Graphic Design.
Medium: Sketching and Adobe Illustrator
These Logo designs were done for a fictional company, Todd and Greene. The founders of Todd & Greene are Fashion Retail consultants looking to rebrand their company for post Covid-19 demand. Todd & Greene consult their clients on how to target their retail spaces (digitally, physically, and spatially) to align with their target market. The company wanted to be on trend, but not trendy. As well, as recognizable but not deliberately recognizable.
The logo designs are meant to represent a clothing hanger (The T and the ampersand), and an article of clothing (the G) which aligns with the fashion retail industry but is not explicit in its symbolism. With my experience creating logo designs, I am able to create and connect a company’s message creatively and effectively.
